Congratulations Messages for Exams and More!

They’ve done it! They’ve overcome the problems they’ve faced along the way, worked hard, and passed their exams. It’s time to send a congratulations card, celebrating their success and wishing them the best for the future. Here are our tips to make those cards meaningful.

Make Your Messages Personal

Simply writing ‘well done’ or signing your name in a congratulations card is easy. But it could be to—or from—anyone! Send a personalised card with a meaningful message. Show you appreciate the effort your recipient has put in and what they’ve achieved.

Add a Name and Printed Message to Congratulations Cards

Give our Personalised Exams Cards an individual touch by adding the recipient’s name. Many of our cards can also include a personalised printed message on the front.

When you craft your printed message and written messages, be specific about struggles and achievements. This shows you’ve been taking notice! For example:

‘Studying during the pandemic was tough. But you smashed it! Ten GCSEs! We’re so proud.’
‘You studied abroad and in a foreign language, but still got a 2:1! I’m in awe. Congratulations!’
‘Four A-levels with a broken arm. Well done! Enjoy celebrating (gently!), and good luck at Durham University.’

What To Write in ‘You’ve Passed Your Exams’ Cards

Don’t just congratulate them on what they’ve achieved. Mention what’s next for them and wish them luck with it.

Congratulations Cards for GCSEs, A Levels and Graduation

Mention the job title, company, college or uni they’re going on to (as in the Durham University example above).

GCSEs: Wish your recipient luck in their apprenticeship, sixth form, college or new job.
A-Levels or BTecs etc: Wish them success at university or in their new employment.
Graduation: Wish them luck with their PhD or new career.

Funny Messages to Write in Passing Exams Cards

Meaningful messages don’t have to be boring. They can be funny too!

‘Well done on getting a First. You weren’t at the pub all the time, then!’
‘Congratulations on your PhD. Now the real work begins. Finding a job!’
‘Three years to get your degree and thirty years to pay off your student loan. It will fly by!’

Congratulations Cards to Celebrate Success in Other Tests, Exams and Competitions

Of course, not all exams test academic skills. We also stock congratulations cards celebrating martial arts, swimming, football and sports achievements, and for passing a driving test. Whatever your loved ones achieve, our range of congratulations cards lets you mark the occasion properly.
